To celebrate Stewarts Soundbites’ 50th episode, we are delighted to welcome Nick Worth to speak about concussion and serious injuries in sports. Nick has a very interesting career history and a wealth of experience in dealing with sportsmen and women who have sustained injury as a result of participation in sports.

It is common knowledge that anyone participating in sports runs the inherent risk of sustaining serious injury. Nick is a chartered physiotherapist with over 20 years’ experience in elite sport. He is the National Lead Clinician for Ascenti, a large physiotherapy company that delivers over 50,000 appointments every month. Nick regularly teaches at Salford University and the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine as well as overseas on a range of healthcare topics. He is regularly instructed as a physiotherapy expert witness in sports litigation.

Nick highlights the most common injuries resulting from sports and the importance of recruiting a knowledgeable and suitably qualified physiotherapist when dealing with a client who has sustained a sporting injury.
